Support for mobile foldable devices

Out now on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and on the website as always. This one is for the iPhone Duo: open it up and Hangarworks opens up with it, which is more than most folding things manage, deckchairs included. *Android* is still in closed testing: Google wants 12 testers first and we have 8. Foldables get the same side-by-side layouts there. Fancy being one of the missing 4? The sign-up is on https://www.sc-hangarworks.org, under the App Store button.

New Features

  • iPhone Duo: Crafting, the Hangar and the Planner each show two panes, one on each side of the fold. Build a ship on the left while your hangar sits on the right, keep Blueprints beside Items, or tinker with two plans at once. Each pane picks its own tab, and both remember what you chose.
  • Profile and Org keep their menu on one side and open what you pick beside it.
  • iPad gets the same side-by-side layouts, so all that room finally has a job.

Feature Improvements

  • Ship pictures: every ship and livery drawn a third time, now in a dim studio under a softbox, so metallic and color-shifting paints keep their depth instead of going flat. In come 130 liveries we had somehow walked straight past, mostly palette-only paints like the Hermes's and the Apollos'.
  • Wide screens: single-column pages stop at a readable width instead of stretching across a tablet like a cat on a warm keyboard. ## UI Changes
  • On the Duo, the toolbars and tab bar live in the side column, where iOS 27 likes them, and nothing sits on the fold.
  • The notification bell's count wears the system's red badge on iOS 26 and later.

Bug Fixes

  • The Blueprints title no longer shrinks into a tiny circle, and the Crafting switch no longer cuts off its own labels.
  • Android testers: folding, unfolding or rotating no longer sends you back to Profile, forgets your filters, or asks for notification permission all over again.
